China Health Law Society: Fully Mobilize Members to Offer Suggestions and Advice for the Prevention

Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, the China Health Law Society has actively responded to the call of the Party Central Committee, and mobilized all the members of the Law Society to fight against epidemic. 

From the outbreak to the present, the president and vice-presidents of China Health Law Society use their research strength of the unit to provide advice for the control of the epidemic; some of the Law Society’s main experts have given full play to their professional expertise and participated in the consultation work of state agencies and localities.

Mr. Wang Chenguang, Executive Vice President of China Health Law Society, and Professor of Tsinghua University School of Law, Ms. Zheng Xueqian, Vice President of China Health Law Society, and Managing Partner of Beijing Huawei Law Firm, and Mr. Tong Zhaohui, Executive Councilor of China Health Law Society, and Deputy Director of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, were elected members of the Expert Group on Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia of National Health Commission, further participate in the analysis and judgment of the epidemic situation, and contribute to the prevention and control of the epidemic.

China Health Law Society issued a proposal to medical and health legal professionals on “Prevent epidemic according to law and protect people's lives and health”, calling on the professionals to actively exert their advantages and make due contributions to the country and the nation, which enjoys positive response and support from lawyers and health legal practitioners. 

In the next step, the China Health Law Society will continue to give full play to its professional advantages in epidemic prevention and control, unite and organize members to focus on relevant issues related to epidemic prevention and control according to law, better serve scientific decision-making and rule of law practice, and make further due contributions to win the " epidemic war ".
